Jess joined Dragonfly in 2021 to lead on developing popular factual programmes from our
Manchester office, Dragonfly North.
She began her career as a journalist; her first job in TV came about when she pitched a story to Channel 4 News about YouTubers which sparked global news coverage. She’s been pitching ideas ever since. After spending a brief time working in current affairs, she moved into factual development with roles at BBC Studios and The Garden. In that time, she’s had several original commissions, including RTS-nominated Women at War: 100 Years of Service (BBC One), The Pregnant Dad (BBC Three) and Sex on the Couch (BBC Three).
